Collectors and dealers in Europe can now conveniently improve the appearance of their coins with the assistance of experts at Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), the world's leader in rare coin authentication and grading. The new PCGS Restoration service (www.PCGSEurope.com/Restoration) is now available in Europe through the PCGSParisSubmissionCenter.
"PCGS Restoration helps eliminate environmental problems that may have occurred with your coins. Preserving originality and the natural condition of every coin is the number one goal of this service," explained PCGS President Don Willis.
"Collectors and dealers in the USA and Asia have eagerly been using this new service after we introduced PCGS Restoration there, and now we are also making it available in Europe."
Coins can be submitted by PCGS Collectors Club members and PCGS Authorized Dealers by appointment at the PCGS Paris Submission Center, 92 rue Richelieu, Escalier G, 2nd Floor, Paris 75002, or by shipping the coins to that location.
Submission instructions are available online in English, French, German, Italian and Polish at www.PCGSEurope.com/Restoration. Collectors in Europe who are not members of the PCGS Collectors Club can have their coins submitted through any PCGS Authorized Dealer in the European Union.
The new PCGS Restoration service helps restore the natural beauty of coins.
"Improper storage, accidental exposure to caustic elements or even the deliberate addition of foreign substances can detract from an otherwise beautiful coin. These problems often can be solved by the skillful application of various non-invasive and industry-accepted techniques that can return coins to their natural original condition," said Willis.
PCGS Restoration is available for all United States and world coins currently accepted for authentication and grading by PCGS.
"We are very excited to launch this new service starting September 1, 2013. Many European collectors have been waiting for PCGS Restoration. In Europe, many coins have been stored for years in inadequate places or found as treasure hoards, and this is a new, value-enhancing service perfectly suited for these circumstances," said Muriel Eymery, PCGS Vice President of International Business Development.
"PCGS provides safety, security and value. PCGS offers an unlimited lifetime guarantee of authenticity, and certification increases your coin's value and liquidity. PCGS is recognized worldwide as the standard for coin grading," Eymery emphasized.
Since its founding in 1986, Professional Coin Grading Service experts have examined and certified over 26 million coins with a total market value of over $27 billion. PCGS is a division of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT).
